Baan Tong Luang, Long Necks und Karen Dörfer, Chiang Mai

 

Baan Tong Luang sind zwei aneinander liegende Dörfer, in dem Menschen aus fünf verschiedenen Bergstämmen leben, darunter das Volk der Karen, Longnecks, Palong, Hmong

 

Baan Tong Luang wurde 2005 eröffnet, um die Erhaltung der alten Traditionen der Bergvölker zu Gewährleisten.

Ein besuch in Baan Ton Luang ist auf jedenfall ein Erlebnis und bietet Einblicke in den Alltag der Bergvölker, zudem sieht man sie noch in ihren farbenfrohen Trachten.

 

Restaurants, saubere Toiletten und eine katholische Kirche sind hier vorhanden, der Eintritt beträgt 500 Baht.
